Kevin Lo is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Geography and Associate Director of the David C. Lam Institute for East-West Studies at Hong Kong Baptist University. His research focuses on understanding environmental governance in authoritarian regimes. He has authored over 60 publications in leading international journals.

Her current research focuses on environmental health issues, in particular the transdisciplinary studies such as microplastics pollution, environmental health risk assessment and public health governance.

Yang Yiqun obtained her BA in politics from Qingdao University and her MA in politics from City University of Hong Kong. Her research interests cover China’s domestic politics and public policy, with a focus on environmental politics and governance. Her current research is mainly on the politics of climate policy implementation.

Wang Xinxin is a PhD student at the Department of Geography. She is also a practising lawyer. She obtained an MA from Ocean University of China and a second MA from Vermont Law School, both in environmental law. Her research focuses on environmental and energy law and policy from the perspective of energy justice, equity, and poverty.

Rachael is a PhD student at the Department of Geography. She works on international climate governance, with a focus on eco-cities and climate experimentation initiatives in China. She received a BA in Management from Northeast Agricultural University and an MA in China Studies from the City University of Hong Kong.
